Project Paper Doll is still underway and has already brought in over $15,000! Reba McEntire�s doll brings in a record breaking $3,500 winning bid! Kenny Chesney, Merle Haggard, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Christina Aguilara and Others In Groups 1 and 2, which closed this week, bring in a total of $15,454.05.
The second year of Project Paper Doll (PPD), a celebrity driven auction of original artwork, has been a huge success again. The auction is still underway for Group 3, which will conclude on December 17. To date, the first two groups of Paper Dolls have brought in $15,454.05 for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children�s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Group 1 brought in over $5,000 with Kenny Chesney�s doll going for $760, Keith Urban�s doll bringing in $600 and Brad Paisley�s topping out at $500.
Group 2 brought in over $10,000 with the help of Reba�s doll going for $3,500. Some other top dolls were Alan Jackson�s doll bringing in $960, Rascal Flatts� at $820, Kelly Clarkson�s doll was sold for $570 and Christina Aguilera�s sold at $410.
Currently, the paper dolls in Group 3 are available for bid through December 17 with Jimmy Buffett�s doll already at $255 and Kid Rock�s doll at over $250 after just one day. Other dolls still up for auction include Clint Black, Charlie Daniels, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Faith Hill, Jewel, Little Big Town, Willie Nelson, Jordin Sparks, George Strait and Wynonna among others.
