LUKE BRYAN MAKES HIS GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT
AND BRINGS IN 80 OF HIS CLOSEST FRIENDS AND FAMILY
NASHVILLE, TN � April 9, 2007 � Capitol Records Nashville�s singer/songwriter Luke Bryan realized one of his dreams Friday night when he made his debut on the world famous Grand Ole Opry. Bryan performed �We Rode In Trucks� and his debut single �All My Friends Say� from his upcoming Capitol Records Nashville debut album I�LL STAY ME scheduled for release in August.
The Georgia native was not the only excited one in the audience. Bryan had about 80-90 of his closest friends and family who drove in from Florida, South Carolina and Georgia to see him grace the hallowed stage.
Before he launched in to �All My Friends Say,� Bryan told the story of how he and his guitar player Michael Carter had found their way in to the Grand Ole Opry House as part of a tour group (by mistake). They thought the Opry House was just open to anyone until they noticed everyone in the group was wearing wristbands so they quietly snuck away from the group and went down to sit in the front row. They sat there in the quiet looking around not saying a word to each for a solid hour. They just sat there in awe. So to be invited to stand on the stage to perform for the first time he said was �truly a dream come true.�
