Live Daily Announces Doin My Thing Tour

Luke Bryan tours behind 'Doin' My Thing

Country crooner Luke Bryan will hit the road this fall in support of his forthcoming album, "Doin' My Thing."

The US outing, which begins Sept. 11 in College Station, TX, will visit fairs, theaters and clubs across the South and parts of the Midwest through late October. A couple of one-off dates--Nov. 28 in Charlotte, NC, and Dec. 5 in Milledgeville, GA--round out the run. Details are shown below.

The Oct. 5 show in Claxton, GA will be the first "Farm Tour" stop on Bryan's career-spanning charity campaign, a concept the musician came up with to give back to organizations in farming communities throughout the US, according to a press release. Proceeds from the Georgia performance will go to a scholarship fund for students at Georgia Southern University, Bryan's alma mater. Further details about the one-off shows will be announced in the coming weeks.

"I love the thought of setting up on a farm and building our own little world, starting small and growing it each time," Bryan said in a press release. "We can never do enough to bring awareness to the hard working farmers of this country."

"Doin' My Thing," Bryan's impending sophomore release and the follow-up to his 2007 debut, "I'll Stay Me," will hit shelves Oct. 6.

Fans who pre-order the new record via Bryan's website will receive an autographed copy.

"My first album had great hits and it sold well, but everything about the album is beatable," Bryan said on his website. "We wanted to make a bigger sounding record, something that moved a little down the road from the first record. We wanted to show my growth vocally and lyrically."

The new effort's lead single, "Do I," written with Lady Antebellum members Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, recently snagged the No. 1 spot on Great American Country's Top 20 Country Video Countdown.
