LUKE BRYAN REACTS TO HIS ACM AWARD NOMINATION

�BEST NEW MALE VOCALIST�

NASHVILLE, TN - Capitol Records Nashville�s Luke Bryan woke up this morning to hear he had received his very first award nomination from the Academy of Country Music for �Best New Male Vocalist.�

�Mama�s going to freak about this one,� claimed Luke Bryan. �I�m freakin� out even more. Honestly, it�s such a feeling of accomplishment. I can�t even put it in to words.�

Coming off 2007 with a #2 debuting album I�LL STAY ME; a Top 5 debut single �All My Friends Say;� a multiple-week #1 single he wrote for Billy Currington �Good Directions,� being chosen as Billboard�s 2007 country artist to watch and landing on �Best of 2007� lists for: Chicago Tribune, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Clear Channel Online Music & Radio to name a few.

Already in 2008, the Georgia native, who USA Today calls �the real deal,� has been part of three major tours of country music�s biggest artists: In January he opened for Trace Adkins �American Man� tour and is currently out with Dierks Bentley and his �Throttle Wide Open� tour. He opens the summer with being part of 12-time fellow ACM nominee Kenny Chesney as part of his �Poets & Pirates� stadium dates.

The ACM �Best New Male Vocalist� nominee�s new single �Country Man� goes for adds at country radio on March 24.
