LUKE BRYAN CELEBRATES FIRST GOLD DIGITAL SINGLE
Nashville, TN (January 21, 2010) � Capitol Records Nashville recording artist Luke Bryan has another �first� to celebrate this week with the RIAA certifying his single �Do I� GOLD, signifying sales of more than 500,000 digital singles. This comes on the heels of �Do I� quenching the #1 spot on the country radio chart. On Monday, January 25, the Georgia native will release the follow-up single �Rain Is A Good Thing� to radio listeners.
Bryan hits the road this Saturday in Macon, GA opening for the much anticipated Jason Aldean "Wide Open Tour." His second album, Doin� My Thing, for Capitol Records Nashville landed at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and #6 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 album chart selling over 57,000 albums in its first week of release, more than doubling the first week sales of his debut album I�ll Stay Me in 2007.
