Luke Celebrates His Third Straight #1 Single With "Someone Else Calling You Baby" Hitting the Top Spot This Week!

Luke wasnï¿½t sure that he could beat the year he had in 2010, but 2011 is already off to a great start. The reigning ACM Top New Artist and Capitol Records Nashvilleï¿½s rising star is celebrating yet again with the news that his current single ï¿½Someone Else Calling You Baby,ï¿½ co-written with Jeff Stevens, has hit the #1 spot on the country singles chart, giving him the distinction of having all three singles (ï¿½Do Iï¿½ and ï¿½Rain Is A Good Thingï¿½) released from his Goldï¿½ certified sophomore album DOINï¿½ MY THING go to #1 on the charts.

This latest news comes on the heels of also having two #1 Goldï¿½-certified smash singles with ï¿½Do Iï¿½ and ï¿½Rain Is A Good Thing.ï¿½

Luke will release ï¿½Spring Break 3ï¿½Itï¿½s A Shore Thingï¿½ on March 1.

In addition to enjoying the tremendous success of his current album, DOINï¿½ MY THING, the Georgia native is the reigning Academy of Country Musicï¿½s Top New Artist and Top New Solo Vocalist, both fan-voted. He also won a CMT trophy in 2010 for the fan-voted USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of The Year for his ï¿½Do Iï¿½ music video. Luke was also honored with nominations in 2010 for both the Male Country Artist and Country Album at the Teen Choice awards and for Favorite Male Country Artist at the American Music Awards.

Luke is currently on Rascal Flattsï¿½ ï¿½Nothing Like This Tourï¿½ and will hit the road this summer with superstar Tim McGraw for his ï¿½Emotional Traffic Tour.ï¿½
